So many of you know about my project and many of you have actually had the pleasure to talk to me about it etc. Well today I'm making it offical and letting everyone know about it. Not just the idea mind you but also the domain, the blog, and everything else associated with it.

Why now?

I was talking to Odessa, a good friend of mine, the other day and she was talking to me about Nehemiah who rebuilt the wall around Jerusalem many years after it had been destroyed. She came to the verse in Nehemiah 6:15 and read "So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days". Well she had been talking with God about something she's been putting off for awhile now, so she decided to challenge herself to "just do it" regardless of time, humility, or anything else. She would give God 52 days to make it happen. She figured if Nehemiah could build a wall in 52 days she could surely do what she needed to do and trust that God would provide. I thought this was really cool so I asked her if I could join her and do the same for my project.

So today is actually day 3 of the 52 days (which ends November 22nd) and I personally haven't done anything (till now) on the project BUT God has been reminding me that I need to. Either by having people constantly bringing it up, or having people talk / pray about it when they didn't have to.

Now it's my turn. This actually really got pushed forward during the final 7|22 a couple of weeks ago. The entire night was all about "What's Next?" and Jarrett was basically telling us that WE are next. We are doing stuff already that 7|22 could never do and probably wouldn't even have tought to do. To illustrate this he talked vaguely about my project, a buddy's art project and some wonderful deeds of yet another friend and his girlfriend. So yea you know I'm building a website, I've already written about it here. I didn't tell you the name though because, well, I didn't really "own" it at the time. So there you have it. My secret is out, I'm on the ropes now and I have 49 days to push this thing event further. Now mind you I won't have it done in 49 days but I'm going to be darn close that is for sure.
